Liza G.

Originally from Latvia, Liza found her way into aerial through dance and pole after deciding to conquer her fear of heights. What started as a challenge quickly turned into a long-term love of movement, performance and being in the air.

Over the years, Liza has trained with aerial coaches around the world, completed aerial teacher training with internationally recognised instructors, performed in Fringe shows and placed first in several Australian competitions with her duo acts. Her specialties include silks, rope, strength and conditioning, and dance-based movement.

As a coach, Liza loves seeing students progress, challenge themselves and still have fun in the process. She brings a calm, patient approach to class, but also holds a high standard for technique and detail. Expect creative sequences, dynamic skills and the occasional puzzle that takes a few attempts before everything suddenly clicks. And every now and then, class might finish with everyone squeezing into a group pose for Instagram.

Outside the studio, Liza is into arts and crafts, freediving and fire eating.
