Demi

Originally from Sydney, Demi discovered aerial after seeing someone doing lyra on Instagram and being completely mesmerised. They signed up for a class the very next day, then another, then another, and the rest is history.

Demi started as a complete beginner with very little upper-body strength, later going on to perform in shows, compete and reach national finals interstate. Their specialties include lyra, hammock, net, and aerial foundations for beginners.

What Demi loves most is helping people through those first few moments in the air and watching their confidence grow over time. Their coaching style is clear, encouraging and very beginner-friendly, with a knack for breaking technical ideas down into plain English and helping students understand how a movement should actually feel in their body. And if you’re trying, Demi will probably be cheering for you.

Outside the studio, Demi works as an environmental professional and is a big animal lover, including the creepy-crawly kind. If there’s ever a bug in the studio, you know who to call.
