Missy .

Missy is a multidisciplinary circus and physical theatre artist with more than 20 years of experience across aerials, acrobatics and pole. A long-time part of the TMA community, she has performed and created work across everything from contemporary circus and cabaret to large-scale events and full-length solo shows.

At TMA, Missy teaches lyra with a strong focus on technique, safety and building confidence in the air. She’s also responsible for one of our favourite reminders: “Safety is sexy.”

Soft-spoken, warm and endlessly supportive, Missy has a wonderful way of making every student feel seen and respected. She builds genuine connections with the people she teaches and celebrates their progress just as much as they do.

Then put her on a stage and she transforms. Missy has an incredible presence, commanding the room with the confidence and magnetism of a true performer. It’s a striking contrast to the gentle Missy you meet in class, and a reminder of just how much experience, strength and artistry sits behind that warm smile.
