Summer is fast approaching, and so are our new tanks which should be arriving any day now!
Please accept our sincerest thanks for keeping an eye on all of your bookings, cancellations and waitlists over the last couple of months. More specifically, for booking yourself into class rather than just turning up, cancelling as early as possible, and taking yourself off a waitlist if you have no intention of attending when a space comes available.
In an effort to deal with the enthusiasm of movers coming out of lockdown, the majority of gyms and studios in Sydney enforced additional fees for late cancellations and no shows. But we were adamant that our movers were courteous and organised enough to make it work without any changes to our policies…
And you proved us right! Thank you and please keep it up!
MORE DAYTIME CLASSES
The addition of our 12:30pm Straps class on Wednesday has been so successful that we have decided to add two more of our most in demand classes to the daytime schedule:
Tuesday 12:30pm CALISTHENICS with Reid McGowan
Thursday 12:30pm ACROBATICS with Amber Kaldor
Both lessons kick off this week, no experience is required for either and everyone is encouraged to join!
HOLIDAY OPENING HOURS
Just like last year, we are excited to be moving right through the Christmas and New Years break with only a few changes to our opening hours:
Christmas Eve & New Years Eve
12:00pm – 5:00pm
Christmas Day & New Years Day
closed
… then it’s business as usual from January 2!
Apart from the changes in opening hours, the timetable will be relatively normal, so please keep an eye on our app to see the schedule appear over the coming weeks and book yourself in!
CLASS DESCRIPTIONS & LEVELS
We are super excited to announce that we will be replacing the terms ‘beginner’ and ‘intermediate’ to describe our class levels; a beginner class will now be listed as ‘level 1’ and an intermediate class will be listed as ‘level 2’.
This won’t actually change your current bookings or scheduling, but the move will more accurately reflect the high level of our ‘beginner’ classes, and also help redirect absolute beginners into our Development Series, privates and open level classes to gain the experience necessary to join any level 1 class. An added bonus is being able to turn some classes into ‘level 3’ when the time is right!
When you think you may be ready to move into a higher level class, just check the class description for any necessary prerequisites and a suggested pathway to obtain them. And if you are still unsure, please feel welcome to speak with our staff or the relevant coach for more advice.
Once again, a huge thank you for all of your support, enthusiasm, diligence and positive energy since reopening in July. Because of you, our new normal ain’t so bad at all.
Please check our timetable for more information on the Calisthenics & Acrobatics classes, and the enrolments tab on our website to book into the upcoming January school holiday workshops.
And as always, do not hesitate to get in touch if you have questions or need any assistance.
Yours in good health and great movement,
The Team at TMA
