Serena D’Orazio

Serena comes from a dance background before finding her way into circus, developing a performance style that blends aerial, contortion and movement with a strong sense of storytelling. She has competed nationally and was the 2023 La Folie national champion in silks.

Quiet and understated by nature, Serena brings a calm, gentle presence to her coaching. Her classes have a focused, thoughtful feel, and she has a particularly lovely way of working with younger students.

On stage, though, another side appears. Serena’s movement becomes expressive, striking and full of character, with the kind of performance that feels less about showing tricks and more about telling a story.
