THE MOVEMENT ACADEMY AGREEMENT
In these Terms and Conditions; The Movement Academy means The Movement Academy Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 54 629 171 580) and You means you, the person acquiring goods and services from The Movement Academy.
These Terms and Conditions can be amended by The Movement Academy at any time. Reasonable effort will be made to inform clients of changes. Notification of changes will be made via email, published on our website, social media and in studio signage and announcements.
Acceptance of Terms and Conditions is a condition of entry. Continued use of the services and/or payment of membership fees is deemed to be acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
The Movement Academy complies with the Privacy Act. We take the protection of your personal information seriously. If you have any questions about our Privacy Policy, or if you wish to request access to your personal information, correct or update your details or raise any privacy concerns you may have, please contact us at info@themovementacademy.com.au.
The information that you provide to us is stored by our client management software system Mindbody Online. Their Privacy Policy can be viewed HERE
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
All purchases are final. The Movement Academy does not offer refunds on services or products for change of mind, user error, injury, illness, change of address or any other reason.
Passes and memberships are non-transferable.
Passes and memberships can not be shared.
You can cancel or reschedule a class via your online account up to 12 hours before your scheduled class time. If you do not attend a booked session or cancel within the cancellation window, it will be considered a “no show” or “late cancel” and you will incur a cancellation fee of 100% or forfeit your purchase.
If you are unable to attend a booked class, please cancel so that your place may be made available to others.
Please respect our 3 hour daily limit when visiting The Movement Academy for classes and open training. This enables us to control capacity and allow space for everyone, but it is also in the interest of your health and safety.
In voluntarily attending classes at The Movement Academy, you agree that you are undertaking a form of exercise which has inherent risk of injury. You agree that neither you, your heirs, assigns or legal representatives will sue or make any other claims of any kind whatsoever against The Movement Academy or its members for any personal injury or property damage/loss, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
We reserve the right to increase fees for classes, passes or memberships at any time.
In attending The Movement Academy, you acknowledge that teachers may use tactile cueing and adjustments to maintain a safe movement practice. Additionally these cueing methods are used to deepen your learning and grow your capabilities.
Every possible effort is made to deliver classes and services as advertised. However, the schedule is subject to change and The Movement Academy is not liable to refund or offer compensation of any kind for classes that are changed or cancelled for any reason.
The Movement Academy may be taking photos and filming at any classes. This footage may then be used for marketing and social media purposes as well as the production of online materials.
FULL MEMBERSHIP:
Your full membership allows you to attend up to 6 classes each week, and have access to train at The Movement Academy during opening hours.
Additional classes will be charged to your nominated account at a cost of $12.50 per class.
The minimum term is ten weeks. After ten weeks, the membership will automatically continue on a weekly basis.
After the minimum term, the membership can be cancelled at any time. We require 5 business days notice to process membership cancelation via email to info@themovementacademy.com.au
Membership fees will be charged to your credit card or bank account once per week via a third party biller.
Membership payments must be made upfront prior to training. We reserve the right to suspend your access to our classes until your payments are up to date.
The terms and conditions of our third party biller Ezidebit form a binding component of your membership agreement. They can be found HERE.
PART MEMBERSHIP:
Your part membership allows you to attend up to 3 classes each week, and have access to train at The Movement Academy during opening hours.
Additional classes will be charged to your nominated account at a cost of $25.00 per class.
The minimum term is ten weeks. After ten weeks, the membership will automatically continue on a weekly basis.
After the minimum term, the membership can be cancelled at any time. We require 5 business days notice to process membership cancelation via email to info@themovementacademy.com.au
Membership fees will be charged to your credit card or bank account once per week via a third party biller.

OPEN TRAINING:
We will ensure that there is always access to space for open training during our trading hours, however, open training space is limited to areas that are not being used for classes at any given time. Please see our timetable or speak to our staff for more information on specific availability.
Only practicing aerial students of The Movement Academy and industry professionals may use the aerial equipment during their own training time.
