THE MOVEMENT ACADEMY AGREEMENT
In these Terms and Conditions; The Movement Academy means The Movement Academy Australia (ABN 57 050 116 881) and You means you, the person acquiring goods and services from The Movement Academy.
These Terms and Conditions can be amended by The Movement Academy at any time. Reasonable effort will be made to inform clients of changes. Notification of changes will be made via email, published on our website, social media and in studio signage and announcements.
Acceptance of Terms and Conditions is a condition of entry. Continued use of the services and/or payment of membership fees is deemed to be acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
All purchases are final. The Movement Academy does not offer refunds on services or products for change of mind, user error, injury, illness, change of address or any other reason.
Passes and memberships are non-transferable.
Passes and memberships can not be shared.
You can cancel or reschedule a class via your online account up to 12 hours before your scheduled class time. If you do not attend a booked session or cancel within the cancellation window, it will be considered a “no show” or “late cancel” and you will incur a cancellation fee of 100% and/or forfeit your session.
If you are unable to attend a booked class, please cancel so that your place may be made available to others.
In voluntarily attending classes at The Movement Academy, you agree that you are undertaking a form of exercise which has inherent risk of injury. You agree that neither you, your heirs, assigns or legal representatives will sue or make any other claims of any kind whatsoever against The Movement Academy or its members for any personal injury or property damage/loss, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
We reserve the right to increase fees for classes, passes or memberships at any time.
In attending The Movement Academy, you acknowledge that teachers may use tactile cueing and adjustments to maintain a safe movement practice. Additionally these cueing methods are used to deepen your learning and grow your capabilities.
Every possible effort is made to deliver classes and services as advertised. However, the schedule is subject to change and The Movement Academy is not liable to refund or offer compensation of any kind for classes that are changed or cancelled for any reason.
The Movement Academy may be taking photos and filming at any classes. This footage may then be used for marketing and social media purposes as well as the production of online materials.
Your membership allows you to attend up to 8 classes each week at The Movement Academy.
Additional classes will be charged to your nominated account at a cost of $8 per class.
The minimum term is eight weeks. After eight weeks, the membership will automatically continue on a weekly basis.
After the minimum term, the membership can be cancelled at any time. We require 5 business days notice to process membership cancelation via email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Membership fees will be charged to your credit card or bank account once per week via a third party biller.
Membership payments must be made upfront prior to training. We reserve the right to suspend your access to our classes until your payments are up to date.
The terms and conditions of our third party biller Ezidebit form a binding component of your membership agreement. They can be found HERE.
The ’10 Pass’ allows you to attend 10 classes at The Movement Academy.
Your 10 Pass expires 3 months after the activation of the pass. The activation date is the date of the first class booked or attended on the pass.
No refunds, transfers, suspensions or extensions are offered on unused portions of passes due to illness, user error, injury, change of address or any other reason.
The ‘Intro Pass’ allows you to attend unlimited classes for 2 weeks at The Movement Academy.
This offer is available to new / first time clients of The Movement Academy only.
Your ‘Intro Pass’ expires 2 weeks after the activation of the pass. The activation date is the date of the first class booked or attended on the pass.
No refunds, transfers, suspensions or extensions are offered due to illness, user error, injury, change of address or any other reason.
